Jewelry, memorabilia stolen
A Fort Mill Township man's jewelry and sports memorabilia was stolen from his home on Sixth Baxter Crossing Thursday, April 3, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report.
Crack charge
A Lancaster man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and a Charlotte man was arrested for an open container and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine on Hwy. 21 Sunday, May 4, according to a sheriff's office report.
The report stated that Christopher Wilson, 22, of 1806 Pardu St. in Lancaster, was pulled over by a deputy after he allegedly made a turn without signaling. After searching the car, the deputy reported that Antonio Johnson, 27, of 9131 Olmstead Drive in Charlotte, had two plastic bags of crack cocaine in his possession.
Wreck ends in DUI charge
A Rock Hill woman, accused of driving while impaired, flipped her car over after crashing into a mailbox and utility pole on Doby's Bridge Road in Fort Mill Saturday, May 3, according to a Fort Mill Police Department report. According to a statement officers took from a witness driving on the other side of the road, the Rock Hill woman swerved and collided with the pole. The report stated that the pole is worth approximately $4,000.
