The fire occurred sometime in the predawn hours on Sunday, May 11. The house, owned by a California resident, did not have electrical power and according to the report, investigators think it may have been intentionally set. The lack of electricity in the home and the unlikelihood that the fire was caused by a lightening strike makes it suspicious, according to the report.

Another trailer's door had been pried open and twisted out, causing major damage to the door and frame. The owner, a Rock Hill man, told deputies his power generator was stolen. The report stated the damage to the trailers is $1,100 and the generator was valued at $4,000.
