Fort Mill Police Capt. Bryan Zachary said no one has been arrested in this case.

“The victim told officers that the trigger man was a black male wearing something over his face,” he said. “We do not have a motive.”

Zachary declined to say how many times or what type of weapon was used, citing the ongoing investigation.

The shooting happened at 12:33 a.m. in the neighborhood near the victim’s house, Zachary said. A police report notes the victim was found laying on the porch of a residence.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call Fort Mill Police at 547-2022 or CrimeStoppers of York County at 1-877-409-4321.
