Counterfeit shoes bust

A Charlotte man was arrested and charged with distribution of counterfeit trademark goods on the Avenue of the Carolinas Thursday, Aug. 28, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report.

Victor Javiar Belilla, 37, of 9226 Stone Abbey Place was arrested for allegedly selling counterfeit shoes from a business he operates, according to the report. Belilla allegedly stated that the supplier of the shoes told him that they were genuine. Twelve pairs of Nike Air Force One, 27 pairs of Nike Air Jordans, retailed at $125 each, 31 pairs of Nike Air Max and 41 pairs of Nike Shox were seized. The total value of the shoes was listed at $11,775.

Marijuana bust

A Rock Hill man was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana at a Fort Mill Parkway business on Thursday, Aug. 28, according to a sheriff's office report.

Ronnie Linwood Gore Jr., 27, of 1284 Colby St., allegedly admitted to possessing a bag of marijuana found at his job, according to the report. After a worker found a bag of marijuana, another worker reviewed the video footage and saw that the bag allegedly fell out of Gore's pocket.

The amount of marijuana weighed 29 grams. This is Gore's second offense, according to the report.

Counterfeit check complaint

Someone has been writing counterfeit checks through a business on Quarry Overlook Drive since Tuesday, July 29, according to a sheriff's office report filed Thursday, Aug. 21.

A comptroller, who handles accounting and financial aspects for the business, stated that someone produced counterfeit checks on the business account, according to the report. Some of the checks used the business name and the others used the account and routing numbers. The total amount of money is $7,018. There is a suspect, but no arrest has been made.

Moped stolen

A Fort Mill woman's moped was stolen from outside of her home on Bolin Circle sometime between Sunday, Aug. 24, and Thursday, Aug. 28, according to a Fort Mill Police Department report.

An unknown suspect stole a blue, 2008 Kymco People that was parked on the victim's front walkway on her residence, according to the report. The value of the moped is approximately $3,000.

Car vandalized

A Rock Hill woman's car was vandalized on Harris Street on Thursday, Aug. 28, according to a Fort Mill Police Department report.

The suspect allegedly became intoxicated at the victim's home and was taken home after he started arguing with the victim's husband, according to the report. The damage to the blue, 2006 Kia Sport is $600. The suspect was not arrested, but the victim was informed to contact the Fort Mill Municipal Judge in reference to the incident.
