School related news from Fort Mill Township
Blackman, Cote, Davis on Dean's List
Three Fort Mill township residents recently made the Dean's List at Furman University: Angelica R. Blackman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Blackman; Jonathan E. Cote, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cote; and Charles H. Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Davis.
Students who earn a grade-point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system make the list.
Stephenson graduates
Colin Michael Stephenson, a math major, graduated cum laude from the College of Charleston on Saturday, May 10. Stephenson is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He graduated from Fort Mill High School and is the son of Bob and Marlene Stephenson.
Haugen graduates
Erin Marie Haugen of Fort Mill was one of 170 members of the Class of 2008 at St. Andrews Presbyterian College. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with a concentration in management during the commencement exercises held on May .
Haugen is the daughter of Phil and Cheri Haugen of Fort Mill and the granddaughter of John and Marsha Toyne of Laurinburg.
