Fugitive caught
A Hilton Head Island woman wanted by Beaufort County police was arrested at a Fort Mill motel Friday, Nov. 7, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report.
Tristian Kay Tidd, 20, of 2051 Deer Island Road, was arrested after a deputy ran a check on her and found out she is wanted by Beaufort's probation department, according to the report. The deputy followed Tidd and ran her name through the National Crime Information Center database because she appeared to be disoriented. Tidd allegedly told the deputy she has been participating in prostitution and drug activity in the motel.
Motorcycle stolen
A motorcycle was stolen outside of a home on Jackson Street sometime between last Sunday and Monday, according to a Fort Mill Police Department report.
The victim said his red and black 2008 Suzuki Burgman 400 was stolen from the driveway, according to the report. A Scorpion helmet was also taken. The value of the helmet and motorcycle is listed at $6,740.
Gun, drug charge
Two Fort Mill men were arrested and charged following a traffic stop at the intersection of East Hill Street and Nesbitt Drive on Wednesday, Nov. 5, according to a Fort Mill Police Department report.
Davaraus Lee Huntley, 18, of 214 S. White St., Apt. 101, was pulled over in his blue, 2003 Mitsubishi Gallant after the officer noticed the front headlight was out, according to the report. The officer ran Huntley's information through the National Crime Information Center and a report from the center said Huntley only has a beginner's permit and the license plate on the car was suspended because of insurance cancellation. Huntley allegedly gave the officer permission to search the car. A passenger identified as roommate of Huntley, Michael Graham Harmon, 18, allegedly told another officer there was a pistol under the seat. A pistol and one gram of marijuana was allegedly found under the seat.
Huntley was arrested and charged with driving without a South Carolina driver's license and improper display of vehicle license plate, according to the report. Harmon was arrested and charged with simple possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying of a pistol.
Debit card complaint
A Tega Cay man was arrested Sunday, Nov. 2, and charged with financial transaction card theft after allegedly using a debit card he is accused of stealing, according to a Tega Cay Police Department report. Ryan Robert Ecksmith, 30, of 12052 Pelican Court allegedly got a cash advance using the debit card, according to the report.
Car burglarized
A car was burglarized outside of a gas station on Carowinds Boulevard Saturday, Nov. 8, according to a sheriff's office report.
The victim was inside the store when someone entered her unlocked, blue, 2009 Toyota Camry.
Moped stolen
A moped was stolen from a porch on South Sutton Road sometime between Thursday, Nov. 6, and Friday, Nov. 7, according to a sheriff's office report.
The red and silver, 2007 Baja SC50 is valued at $880, according to the report.
