Residents get degrees from Clemson
Six local students were among those awarded degrees from Clemson University at a graduation ceremony held Dec. 18.
They are: Amanda Marie Cubit, B.A. Cum Laude, political science; Gregory Leonard German, B.S., accounting; William Kent Higgins, B.S. animal and veterinary sciences; and Sherri Lyn Wegner, B.S., chemical engineering, all of Fort Mill, and Jared Lee Miller, B.S. Cum Laude, biological sciences and Ashley Lauren Myhal, B.A. Summa Cum Laude, sociology, both of Tega Cay.
Moore graduates from Winthrop
Everett Kenya Moore, a 2002 graduate of Fort Mill High School, graduated with his Master of Business Adminis-tration from Winthrop University, Thursday, Dec. 18.
Black graduates from USC
Jeremy Q. Black, the son of Sylvia B. Crocker and Carl N. Black and Tony Crocker and Ann Black, all of Fort Mill, will graduate from the University of South Carolina Monday, Dec. 15, with a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing and human resource management with a minor in criminal justice.
Black is a 2004 graduate of Fort Mill High School.
