Deeper Shade of Blue will be hosting the fourth annual Hensley Farm Bluegrass Festival noon Saturday, April 4, at 1373 Hensley Rd., Fort Mill. Bring your lawn chairs and hear a variety of musical performances by Deeper Shade of Blue, Pinetuckett, Southern Junction, Chappell Road, R.C. Harris and Blue Denim surrounded by a beautiful country setting. Sit under the shade of the pecan trees and enjoy the food that Glenrock Baptist Church will have available as a fundraiser for its youth group. Adult tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the entrance. COMING SOON:

• Earth Day on the Anne Springs Close Greenway, 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18. This year's theme is "Down by the Old Mill Stream" to celebrate the representation of Webb's Mill located on the Anne Springs Close Greenway just off of Steele Creek. Activities include horse rides, guided hikes along the greenway, sheep herding demonstrations, live music, face painting and much more. Call 548-7252.

• Preschool Story time, 10:30 a.m., Tuesdays and 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesdays at the Fort Mill Public Library. Story time and activities for 3 to 5 year-olds and their caregivers.

• Learn karate, for self defense, sport, fitness and fun at the Leroy Springs Recreation Center. Times vary.
