Lunch with New Southern Women

The Fort Mill New Southern Women's Club will meet at the Clebourne House (next to Belle Vive Spa) at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 21.

A sandwich bar of roast beef, chicken salad, potato salad, chips, cookie and beverage will be served for $10. Carol Dixon and Wink Rea from Move Fort Mill Forward will be guest speakers. In conjunction with the American Cancer Society Columbia office, Marvin Smith of Fort Mill is starting an ACS Man-to-Man prostate cancer support group in the York County area. Legion Post 43 seeks members

American Legion Post 43 in Fort Mill is actively recruiting all eligible retired and active duty military members. The post, located at 427 Banks St., Fort Mill, also holds public bingo nights at 6:30 p.m. every Friday. For more information, call 547-2414.

Tega Cay women invited

The Tega Cay Women's Club meets the last Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at Tega Cay City Hall for an interesting program, refreshments and updates on the many activities available. All women in Tega Cay are invited to join. Monthly group activities include arts and crafts, book club, Bunco, day trips, dining out, euchre, knitting, mah-jongg, movies, service projects and socializers.
