Gumballs were found all over the floor of a Fort Mill salon earlier this week following a break-in.
Sometime between closing Tuesday and Wednesday morning, an unknown suspect busted a glass window at Esther Hair Styling, 158 Flint Hill Road, Fort Mill, according to a York County Sheriff's Office report.
The thief stole a 7-inch portable television and a Stanley tool box with about $120 worth of tools. A gumball machine valued at $230 was destroyed and $4 in quarters was stolen from the machine. About $18 worth of gumballs were scattered all over the floor, the report states.
A hammer was found outside the shop by the broken window.
