FORT MILL --
The Fort Mill High swim team improved to 3-0 last week beating Clover and both Northwestern and Nation Ford in a three-way meet to start the season.
Fort Mill opened the season by beating Clover High 208-129 with both the boys and girls teams picking up wins. They came back later in the week to beat the Trojans 218-122 and the Falcons 241-96 in the three-way meet.
The Jackets won four of the six relay events in the meet with Northwestern taking the other two events.
Nation Ford and Fort Mill will go head-to-head this week in a dual meet at the Leroy Springs Complex.
Winning for the Jackets in the three-way meet were:
Meg Wiggins – girl’s 200-yard freestyle
Sam Van Buskirk – boy’s 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke
Jeffrey Case – boy’s 200-yard individual medley
Madison Little – girl’s 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle
Jacob Kohlhoff – boy’s 100-yard butterfly
Al Lim – boy’s 100-yard backstroke
Allie Barilla – girl’s 100-yard breaststroke
Winning for Nation Ford were:
Brian Peterson – boy’s 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle
Brandon Sweezer – boy’s 500-yard freestyle
