Ashlyn Boyer of Fort Mill and Adam Howard of Chesterfield, Va., are to be married in the spring of 2012 at First Baptist Church in Fort Mill.
The future bride, the daughter of Reid and Sally Boyer of Fort Mill, is continuing her college degree in Virginia.
The son of Alan and Angela Howard of Chesterfield, the bridegroom-to-be graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011. He is employed as a systems administrator of a cloud computing company in Richmond, Va.
