Day to pray: National prayer event held at Fort Mill Town Hall

Dozens of people packed just outside Town Hall Thursday to participate in the National Day of Prayer.

Organizers of the ecumenical event, which is led by local clergy, say its intended to bring residents together not just to worship, but also to ask God to guide sectors that touch most peoples’ lives – government, the U.S. military, education, the media, business, churches and family.

The event has been held at Town Hall since 1994.
