Please donate oral care supplies

In recognition that good oral health promotes good overall health, the Fort Mill Care Center is asking for donations of toothbrushes and toothpaste to reach our goal of providing toothpaste to every family that we serve and a toothbrush for every person. Last year, during the month of September, we were able to provide toothpaste to 290 families and toothbrushes to 933 individuals.

This goal was met because of generous donations from individuals, groups and businesses. These items cannot be bought with food stamps. I would like to mention that most mouthwash contains alcohol, so we cannot distribute that.

Donations can be brought to the Fort Mill Care Center, located on Banks Street near downtown Fort Mill, during our operating hours of 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We will be closed on Labor Day.
