‘Muslim mandate’ talk

Temple Solel, a Reform Jewish congregation in Fort Mill serving the Tri-County area, is will be offering High Holiday Services. These lay led Reform services will be held at Heritage Conference Center in Fort Mill.

Forever Friends is a praise and worship program for adults with disabilities and special needs ages 18 years and older. The United Churches of Fort Mill have organized “The Paradise Reading Center, Changing the lives of Families through Reading.”
The objective is to improve literacy in the Fort Mill community with hopes of improving school performance, as well as adult literacy.

Enrollment begins for Higher Ground after-school program
Higher Ground Church Child Development Center is now enrolling students for its 2012-2013 Christ-centered after school program.
All kindergarten students along with first through fifth-grade students are welcome. The program is a spiritual alternative to traditional childcare centers offering professional homework tutoring, daily chapel services and low student to teacher ratios in separated classrooms.
Students will be offered healthy snacks, structured group play times and spiritual lessons. the program also offers seasonal drama and music productions.

The Clothes Closet Ministry of Sisk Memorial Baptist Church is open on the second and fourth Thursday and the third Saturday of each Month.
Clothing is available to all without cost.
Donations can be made on Tuesday and Friday and left on the front porch. Clean, gently used clothing only. No shoes or household items.
