Thank you for the donations

Care Center grateful for donations

We at the Fort Mill Care Center would like to thank everyone who has responded to our recent letters. Thank you for the donations of toothbrushes and toothpaste for Oral Hygiene Month.

Because of your generous donations, we were able to provide toothpaste and toothbrushes to 259 families (789 individuals) during the month of September.

Thank you also for all who have responded to our plea for food. Since the plea was published in the Fort Mill Times, on our website ( fortmillcarecenter.org) and on Facebook, we have received over 6,400 pounds of food. We no longer have any bare shelves in our pantry, and our store room is filling up.

Currently we are in need of canned pasta (spaghetti-Os, Chef-Boy-R-Dee, etc.) and canned tomatoes and tomato sauce. (We have pasta coming out our ears, but are almost out of sauce to give with it.)
