Spirited Banks Trail holds rally

Banks Trail Middle School celebrated spirit week last week with a pep rally ahead of the seventh- and eighth-grade football contests against Fort Mill Middle School on Oct. 10.
The main event featured mascots from both schools in the boxing ring. The teams didn’t fare as well as their mascot, with the seventh-graders losing 28-16 and the eighth-graders falling 27-0. This year marks the first for eighth grade sports at Banks Trail, where the football team is now 1-5.
