Lake Pointe Academy wins cross country state meet

COURTESY OF LAKE POINTE ACADEMY - The Lake Pointe Academy cross country team ended its season by capturing several awards at the state meet. In the South Carolina Association for Christian Schools event, the Lady Mariners varsity team captured first place. Setting the pace was junior Hailey Willingham, who won first place for the women. In the men’s contest, sophomore Miller Gross finished second place. The state meet was held near Clemson, using the course of the event host, Southern Wesleyan University of Central, SC.
