Tega Cay Trojans head into football playoffs 7-1
TEGA CAY --
The Tega Cay Trojans won their last regular season game 36-0 over the Mountaineers to claim a 7-1 record for the season.
Quarterback Dylan Helms threw touchdowns to Steven Neese, Justin Vaughn and Ben Burnham. Dillon Evans and Sam Gilbert scored rushing touchdowns. Helms, Mikey Tepper and Justin Vaught provided two-point conversions.
The second place Trojans were scheduled to face off against the third place Mountaineers in a playoff game on Monday at Gold Hill Middle School (results not available by press time). The winner of the playoff game will face the first place, undefeated Ducks for the championship on Monday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m.
