This is regarding Jules Giglios letter last week: I read the article Jules Giglio sent in about the mail and I could not believe what I was reading. Mail carriers deliver the mail in 100 degree temperatures and in bad weather. They work hard and their reward is complaints because peoples mail is an hour late.
Mail carriers are just like other workers. If they dont finish on time, they work over. I live in Fort Mill and I get my mail late some days. What difference does it make if the mail comes at 1 p.m. or 6 p.m.?
I have a simple solution for people who want their mail early: For one day in their life, they should not get the mail out of their mailbox. Every day after that they can get their mail at 6 in the morning.
