FORT MILL --
Hundreds of people started staking out their spots along the annual Fort Mill Christmas parade route more than an hour before the procession made its way from Tom Hall Street down through the downtown area.
This year's parade featured 121 floats, one less than in 2011, Fort Mill Parks and Recreation director Brown Simpson said.
"I am not sure about the most entries we have ever had. Last year was the most that we had had since I have been in charge of it," said Simpson who's been in the position for more than a decade.
One thing he does know ism "It is a tradition that has always been held the first Saturday of December," for more than 30 years now.
