Stark, Henderson marry in Charleston

Brittany Lauren Stark and Adam Joseph Henderson, both of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., were married Aug. 4, 2012, in Charleston. Andrew Mateo de Acosta officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Lester and Anita Stark of Palm Beach Gardens. She graduated from Stetson University in Deland, Fla. She is a market analyst for Bankrate.com.

The bridegroom is the son of Joseph and Alana Henderson of Indian Land. He graduated from University of South Carolina and Palmer Chiropractic School in Port Orange, Fla. He is employed by Boynton Physical Medicine in Boynton Beach, Fla.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a Galina gown and a head piece made of feathers, pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of white roses and calla lilies.

Maid of honor was Shanna Stark, sister of the bride, of Tampa, Fla.

In lieu of bridesmaids, the bridegroom’s niece and nephew, Peyton and Riley Mounce of Shelby, N.C., walked the aisle ahead of the bride. They carried a sign that read, “Uncle Adam, here comes your bride.”

Best man was Max Thomas Condron of Charleston.

A reception was held at High Cotton Restaurant. The newlyweds honeymooned at The Charleston Place and settled at Palm Beach Gardens.
