Let’s not forget those in need

Story shed light on situation

I want to thank Jennifer Overman for updating the story about the homeless living in the woods by Carowinds.

It is so good to see so many people helping. It would not have been if we did not read this article as we were not aware this was going on. Hopefully they will get a shelter soon as there are many places that could set up some kind of shelter for these people. I cannot believe we have veterans also there who cannot get help from the government. This is disgraceful.

Let’s keep updating these stories so that people will never forget this is going on.
