Amanda Bacik of Tega Cay and William Henson of Charlotte were married Nov. 10, 2012, at First United Methodist Church in Charlotte.
The Rev. Robert E. Boggan Jr. officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jim Bacik and Marlene Bacik of Tega Cay. She graduated in 2005 from Winthrop University in Rock Hill. She is the marketing business manager for Continental Tire in Fort Mill.
The bridegroom is the son of Jeff and Robin Henson of Charlotte. He graduated in 2004 from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He is a police officer with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Melissa Allen, friend of the bride, of Houston, Texas. Matron of honor was Erin Biggerstaff, friend of the bride, of Indian Land. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Hawkins, Abbee Marsee and Ashley Pulask, friends of the bride, of Fort Mill; and Blair Powers, friend of the bride, of Greenville.
Best man was Robert Henson, brother of the groom, of Charlotte. Groomsmen were Jim Arnold, Beau Byrum and Jonathan McCall, friends of the groom, of Charlotte; Aaron Bacik, brother of the bride, of Fort Mill; and Adam Bacik, brother of the bride, of Charleston.
Ushers were Grayson Chavis, Jacob Giles, and Jimmy Pendergraph of Charlotte.
A reception was held at Extravaganza Depot in Charlotte.
The newlyweds honeymooned in St. Lucia and settled in Charlotte.
