York County Coroner Sabrina Gast wins DWTS- Fort Mill

TEGA CAY --

York County Coroner Sabrina Gast and her dance partner Dmitry Solomakha were the overall winners in the 2013 Dancing with the Stars – Fort Mill competition and fundraiser held Saturday in Tega Cay’s Glennon Center. The proceeds are used to help pay for middle school sports programs in the Fort Mill School District.

Funding for the programs was eliminated as part of district-wide budget cuts.

This is the second year middle school sports boosters staged DWTS- Fort Mill. This year’s edition raised $16,000.

The other contestants were Tega Cay Councilman Ron Kirby, WBTV sports reporter Sammi Jo Francis, Nation Ford football coach Michael Allen and his dance partner, Nation Ford cheerleading coach Kristen Rhodes and orthodontist Michael Riordan, OB-GYN Ansley Hilton.
