Q: When does free agency signing begin?
At 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Q: What’s allowed between now and the start of free agency?
Clubs can negotiate with players who are unrestricted free agents with any club until 4 p.m. on Tuesday. But a contract cannot be signed until after that time.
Q: What’s the difference between a restricted and unrestricted free agent?
Unstricted free agents have compiled at least four accrued seasons. An accrued season is six or more games on a team’s active or inactive roster (does not include practice players).
Q: Who are the Panthers’ free agents?
