FORT MILL TOWNSHIP --
The owner of a Fort Mill home previously occupied by an alleged drug dealer told police Thursday that thousands of dollars worth of electronics and appliances were stolen from the house, according to a York County Sheriffs Office report.
The owner of the Fern Forest Court home told police a clothes dyer, two televisions, and a laptop were gone. Damage also was reported to walls, electrical outlets, and furniture.
Responding officers found out from York County drug unit officials that the tenant had been arrested in mid-February on drug charges and was still in jail. Narcotics officers told deputies that after the tenants arrest in February, the home was secured and no items were missing.
The landlord told police he had not been to the property since January. No arrests have been made but the case remains under investigation.
