Hips celebrate 50 years of marriage
Hilda and John Hipp of Fort Mill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 23, 2013, with a reception at the Clebourne House.
The celebration was hosted by their children, Jane Edwards and John Hipp. They have four grandchildren: William Hipp, Michael Hipp, Kendrick Edwards and Luke Edwards.
John William Hipp Jr. and Hilda Gale Mygatt were married Feb. 23, 1963, at Greenland Avenue Baptist Church in Charlotte.
