Henley, Ranson marry

Kelly Marie Henley and Michael Patterson Ranson, both of Greenville, were married on Jan. 19, 2013, at Mary’s Cottage at Falls Creek in Greenville.

Brenda Owen officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Pam McAuley of Monroe, N.C., and Dennis Henley of Huntsville, Ala.

She graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte and studies communications at Eastern Carolina University. She is a sales and events manager at Table 301 in Greenville.

The bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Tara Ranson of Fort Mill.

He received his B.A. and M.Ed from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Va. He is the assistant baseball coach at Furman University in Greenville.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a strapless fit-and-flare gown of re-embroidered alencon lace with heavy beading and a birdcage headpiece. She carried a bouquet of hand-tied ivory roses and blue hydrangea.

A cocktail hour followed at Smoke on the Water before the dinner reception at The Lazy Goat in Greenville.

The couple resides in Mauldin.
