Erin Kelly Bauknight of Charleston and Jason Hunter Ostrander of Fort Mill were married Nov. 4, 2012, at Boone Plantation in Charleston. The Rev. Stephen Brunson of Mount Pleasant officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Col. and Mrs. Mark Bauknight of North Charleston. She graduated in 2009 from Clemson University School of Engineering in Clemson. She is an engineer at Exxon Mobil in Houston, Texas.
The bridegroom is the son of John and Barbara Ostrander of Fort Mill. He graduated in 2010 from Clemson University School of Engineering in Clemson. He is an engineer at VAM Drilling N.A. in Houston.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a J.Crew gown of silk and organza. She carried a bouquet of peonies, hydrangeas and roses.
Maid of honor was Lindsay Balint, friend of the bride, of Moorestown, N.J. Bridesmaids were Aileen Kuscera, friend of the bride, of Greenville and Elizabeth Ostrander, sister of the groom, of Fort Mill. They wore short, brown, strapless dresses.
Best man was James “J.C.” Zabel, friend of the groom, of Moorestown, N.J. Groomsmen were Adam Johnson, friend of the groom, of Clemson; Ryan Goldsbury, friend of the groom, of British Columbia; and John “J.R.” Ostrander, brother of the groom, of Boone, N.C.
Ushers were Ryan and Connor Bauknight, brothers of the bride, of Charleston.
A reception was held at The Cotton Dock at Boone Plantation.
The couple honeymooned in Charleston and settled in Houston, but are moving to Anchorage, Alaska.
