Two Al-Anon groups meet locally
An Al-Anon Family Group is a community resource providing support to anyone affected by a relative or friend’s drinking. The group meets in the following locations:
• Tega Cay AFG Grace Presbyterian Church on Hwy. 160 West near the corner of Gold Hill Road, 8 p.m. Mondays
• Fort Mill AFG First Baptist Church (in the house next to the church), 121 Monroe White St., 8 p.m. Tuesdays
Are you caregiver for Alzheimer’s or dementia patient?
Are you feeling overwhelmed with your caregiving responsibilities? Meet people who are dealing with the same life issues that you are facing, learn techniques that will work especially for you and find comfort in friendship.
Group meets 10-11 a.m. the second Friday of each month in the Carolina Lakes Golf Clubhouse meeting room (first door on left off lobby). A free in-home agency caregiver can be provided to stay with your loved one while you attend the support group.
Scuba club dives into events
The Carolina Scuba & Adventure Club meets monthly at the Towne Tavern in Fort Mill. Club members will participate in beach cleanups, including an underwater cleanup. Contact the group on Facebook, or email email@example.com.

Prostate cancer support available

Support for incest survivors available
A support group for victims of incest meets in Indian Land. Sarah Harrison, an expert peer counselor in the field, hosts the group.
The group meets the first and third Thursday of each month at the Del Webb Library at 7641 Charlotte Highway. Incest victims and survivors are welcome to come to find support to move ahead in their lives. Contact Harrison at 548-0490 or email@example.com.
