Gilmore, Hollingum wed in London

Mrs. and Mrs. Benjamin James Hollingum

Kristen Nicole Gilmore and Benjamin James Hollingum, both of London, United Kingdom, were married April 14, 2012, at Lewisham Register Office, London, in a civil ceremony.

The bride, daughter of Karen Gilmore of Fort Mill and Mark Gilmore of Key Largo, Fla., earned her BA in Theatre from the University of South Carolina in 2006 and her MA in Scenography from the University of London in 2010. She manages the scenic workshop at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, London.

The groom, son of Deirdre and John Hollingum of Greenwich, UK, earned his BA in English from the University of Kent, Canterbury in 2007. He is an editor for Windmill Books, Ltd. of London.

Gilmore wore a polka-dotted swing dress and shrug by Vivien of Holloway. She carried a black tulip from her garden. Hollingum wore a matching boutonnière. Official witnesses to the ceremony were Rachel Gevelow, the bride’s sister, and Edward Hollingum, the groom’s brother.

A reception followed at Shrewsbury House, Shooter’s Hill.

The couple honeymooned at Torbay before settling in Crofton Park, London.
