The July 16 event for teen library patrons is part of a series of special programs this summer at York County libraries to promote the summer reading program for children, teens and adults.

Staff members introduced students to the art of gruesome theatrical makeup. They demonstrated how to make “zombie” creations such as black eyes, bruises, cuts and other injuries.
