Three suspected of burglary attempt
Three Rock Hill men were issued trespass notices after they were allegedly seen by a Fort Mill Police Department officer who suspected an attempted burglary was under way. The officer was suspicious of the three, who were backing a truck up to a Lowe’s Home Improvement storage container, according to a report.
At approximately 12:19 a.m. July 25, an officer reported seeing a white truck traveling through the Lowe’s parking lot, which then made its way behind the store. According to police, the truck pulled up to a container with the door open. The report says the officer heard one suspect tell two other suspects to come out of the container. According to the report the officer approached and asked all three if they had permission to take appliances from the store’s storage container and they told the officer that they did not.
The officer left Lowe’s loss prevention manager a message regarding the incident and issued the three trespass notices, advising them to stay off Lowe’s property.
