Erin Claire Wells and Stephen Ryan Crist were married Saturday, April 6, 2013, on the bride’s parents’ dairy farm in Clover.
The Rev. Jack Buchanan of Kings Mountain, N.C., officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony. Phil Nixon and Tammy Whorley provided music for the wedding party procession and then played with their band at the reception, which also took place at Rock Haven Dairy Farm.
The bride, daughter of Harry and Jane Wells of Clover, is a second-grade teacher at Pleasant Knoll Elementary in Fort Mill. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Campbell Wells of Clover and Myra Aughtry Jenkins and the late Harry Jenkins of Gastonia, N.C.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Rhonda Crist of Fayetteville, N.C., and is employed as an area supervisor at the Ross Distribution Center in Fort Mill.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride’s sisters, Lark Lizabeth Wells of Vienna, Va., and Abigail Frances Wells of Clover, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Logan Cato of York, Hillary Ellen Stewart of Clover and Hayden Conley of Charlotte. Flower girls were Alexis Barrowclough and Madison Reading, both of Fort Mill, who are former students of the bride. Attendants to the bride were Jenny Player of Clover and Lindsay Sherbert of Columbia.
Tony Wilson of Gastonia served as best man. The brother of the groom, Robert Crist of Minneapolis, Minn., and Martyn McDermitt of Columbia acted as groomsmen. Kevin Michael Wilson of Fort Mill, also a student of the bride, was the ring bearer.
After a honeymoon in Napa Valley and San Francisco, the couple settled in Rock Hill.
