Moores celebrate 50 years together

August 27, 2013

Clyde Jack Moore and Sharon Malee (Zelt) Moore were originally born and raised in Fort Wayne, Ind. and graduated from rival high schools – Central and South Side. Not unlike Romeo and Juliet or Tony and Maria, their powerful love brought this Tiger and this Archer together when the Moores tied the knot Aug. 24, 1963, at Trinity English Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.

Jack spent 36 years of dedicated service with International Harvester/Navistar. Sharon worked as a beautician and retired as a successful salon owner of Shear Madness. They raised two dashing sons, Dan and Dave. Dan and his wife, Jennifer, live in Tega Cay along with their son, Charlie, and twin daughters, Mallory and Emerson. Dave and his wife, Brenda, live in Shaker Heights, Ohio, along with their sons, Carson and Evan.

A celebration in honor of Jack and Sharon will be held over Labor Day weekend in Fort Mill.
