FORT MILL — As students are finally starting to get used to the new school year, homecoming is starting to pop up all over local high schools.
Nation Ford’s Spirit Week began Monday and ends Oct. 4. Each day of the week students will have a special theme to follow.
“Spirit Week shows how much spirit and pride we have for the school,” said Renee Kozlowski said, who is head of student council for Nation Ford.
“The purpose is to come together as a whole and show how much we care for the school.”
But Nation Ford students don’t just stop at dressing up every day.
Besides the different spirit days, Nation Ford students hold class competitions like “Falcon Idol,” elect a Homecoming court and host a motivational speaker. A pep rally tops off the week.
