United Way of Lancaster has grant money to give away

October 20, 2013

United Way of Lancaster County is looking for nonprofit organizations and agencies that want to apply for grants for community programs in education, poverty, health and safety.

All agencies seeking 2014-‘15 United Way funding should submit an eligibility application. Applications must be received by the United Way office by noon on Nov. 22. Eligibility standards and an application can be downloaded at uwaylcsc.org.

Agencies deemed eligible will receive another application on or before Jan. 21, 2014. Eligibility allows an agency to apply for funding, but does not guarantee funding.

For more information, contact the United Way office at 803-283-8923 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or email moutlaw@uwaylcsc.org.
