— City police arrested and charged a Greensboro, N.C., man earlier this week after he allegedly fired a pistol several times outside the Tega Cay golf Course clubhouse, according to a report.

Timothy Scott House, 36, of 2702 Alamance Church Rd., is accused of pulling out “a small hand gun” on Saturday, Oct. 19, and “for no apparent reason” firing shots into the the air,” the report states. Witnesses told police House was standing outside the clubhouse smoking a cigarette before firing the gun. He then got into a white SUV being driven by another man and left the area, heading down Tega Cay Drive, witnesses told police, according to the report.

Police used a credit card slip they said the driver of the SUV used to pay for drinks at the clubhouse to track the two down. Officers said when they stopped the SUV that House, described in the report as appearing “highly intoxicated,” was int he passenger’s seat.

Four spent shell casings were recovered from the clubhouse area, the report states, and after further investigation, House was arrested and charged on Oct. 21, said Capt. David Nelson, spokesman for the Tega Cay Police Dept.
