FORT MILL — A man in all black held up a store clerk at John Boys on Spratt Street just before closing time Sunday, Fort Mill police say.
The man entered the convenience store at about 8 p.m. and went to the cash register as if he was going to buy something, according to a Fort Mill Police report.
The man then told the 23-year-old clerk he had a gun in his pocket and demanded money.
Although she never saw the weapon, the worker complied. The robber then ran from the shop with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black man between 18-25 years old, approximately 6-foot, 2-inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a baseball hat at the time of the robbery, according to the report.
