Update: Worker injured at Fort Mill school site in critical condition

A construction worker at the new Doby’s Bridge Elementary School in Fort Mill fell off the school’s roof on Tuesday morning, according to a Fort Mill police report.

The man, Fredy Noe/Urraco, 28, is an employee of Basland Inc., a drywall company, a sub-contractor on the construction project.

Officers were told Noe/Urraco fell from an upper roof onto a lower roof before landing on the ground.

He was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

As of late Wednesday morning Noe/Urraco, was still listed in critical condition at CMC.
