— A bus carrying 24 Gold Hill Middle School students was involved in a minor accident on Tuesday morning.

No one was injured, said Fort Mill school district spokeswoman Kelly McKinney.

The bus was stopped in the median of Tega Cay Drive, waiting to turn left. The car, McKinney said, didn’t see the bus in enough time to avoid it and there was a minor collision.

The bus wasn’t damaged and the car had minor damage, she said.

The students were a few minutes late for school and all parents were notified of the incident.

The bus driver was found to be at fault but no citations were issued, said Maj. David Nelson of the Tega Cay Police Department.
