FORT MILL — Police have determined that an armed robbery last week at a Fort Mill convenience store was a conspiracy between the clerk and alleged gunman, according to a news release from the Fort Mill Police Department.
On Nov. 17, police responded to an incident at John Boys on Spratt Street after a clerk said a man in all black robbed John Boys on Spratt Street just before closing time. The initial report stated the robber told the 23-year-old clerk he had a gun in his pocket and demanded money. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
After an investigation, Robert Turner, 33, was arrested and charged with armed robbery, according to a supplemental police report.
During a police interview, Turner admitted his involvement and provided a written statement that he conspired with the clerk and her boyfriend. Turner was also charged with grand larceny and criminal conspiracy.
Warrants have been issued for the clerk, identified as Megan Wright, and her boyfriend, Tytravious Wylie, the report states.
