Pick up a present for a pet

Why don’t you stop by the Humane Society of York County’s Christmas Store? The store is decked out for Christmas in its new location which is the old Sprint store at 2000 Hwy. 160 West near Towne Tavern. The store is full of Christmas trees, wreaths, ornaments, stuffed animals, books and movies, collectibles, baby and women’s holiday wear. The store is run by volunteers and 100 percent of the proceeds go to care for rescued pets.

You can shop on Thursdays and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. and from 10 to 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays until Dec. 28. Why not donate the Christmas items you are not using and pick up some “gently” used or new holiday items at the store while helping the dogs and cats? The inventory changes daily, so stop by on a regular basis so you don’t miss out on some great holiday décor!

The Christmas store is accepting donations of holiday items only. All other donations will be accepted at the Pawsibilities Thrift Shop at 2144 Carolina Place Drive (behind Lowe’s Home Improvement). To make a donation or for more information, contact Elaine Siegel at 517-2091.
