— The Humane Society of York County has many dogs, puppies, cats and kittens just waiting for the right family to give them a “forever home.” Among the many lovable pets you can meet there, the HSYC wants to showcase:

•  Gizmo is a 9 year-old Shi tzu who has special needs. He is currently blind and slowly losing his hearing.

Gizmo is a funny curious boy who has lots of love to give.

•  Joy is a beautiful spayed female tabby. She has been at the shelter almost two years.

Joy came to the shelter with babies and was a great mom to her kittens. She needs some room to roam so she can lose her baby weight.

•  Jasmine is a spayed de-clawed muted tabby who has been in the shelter for far too long, the HSYC caregivers say.

Jasmine is described as a loving and special girl who deserves a home for the holidays.

There are many more to see at the HSYC.
