— Winter is here and many residents in need are facing the coldest months without a coat.

More than 150 coats for needy children were collected last week at the WSOC-TV and Wilkinson & Associate’s “Steve’s Coats for Kids” drive in south Charlotte, N.C., and there’s still time to make a difference. Wilkinson & Associates has a Fort Mill office.

“Wilkinson ERA is a proud participant in Steve’s Coats for Kids,” said president Scott Wilkinson. “It’s an awesome opportunity to help – even if it were just one coat. We will be participating every year and hope we can make a difference in the lives of children in our area.”

The community is encouraged to continue dropping off coats at any of Wilkinson & Associates’ four area offices through Jan. 14. Locally, the office is at 111 Clebourne St., Suite 100, Fort Mill.

All coats will be given to the Crisis Assistance Ministry in Charlotte. For more information, call 704-393-0048.
