Tega Cay needs answers for utility problems

Tega Cay tired of water ‘abuse’

This is a letter recently sent to Tega Cay Mayor George Sheppard regarding Utilities Inc. and the sewage spills into Lake Wylie:

Please advise if TC Gov is involved directly with Corix, UI’s parent company? Has a Corix top-executive-level representative (not UI) visited TC to address this insane concern?

Has TC Gov taken the concern directly to Corix’s Corporate hdqtr’s to make a “face to face” presentation? If not already, is the Catawba Regional Council Of Governments involved.

TC, the states of SC and NC can not afford to wait for a long overdue permanent resolution to a extremely serious environmental concern that is already many years in the making. And the collateral damage that continues to be done. The train is going faster, the breaks are wearing, and a sharper curve is coming, i.e., half a million gals spilled just in 2013.

This is more of a moral and ethics concern. TC citizens are tired of paying for the highest water/sewage cost in the State and getting this kind of abuse in return.

And I wish to remind, UI has had the most violations of any Utility Co just in SC.
