Watts wins middle school title

— Recently middle school wrestlers affiliated with Nation Ford High School competed in the York County Middle School Championships and the team advanced four to the finals with Kendrick Watts from Fort Mill Middle School taking home the title at 189 pounds.

Fort Mill Middle School wrestlers Keane McCllelan (107) and Brody Parks (169) and Jason Nunoo (147) of Springfield Middle School also finished second.

Other wrestlers who fared well on the day were Wesley Johnson of Fort Mill Middle School, who finished fourth at 134 pounds,while Jacob Moore (112, FMMS) and Josh Paxtor (100, SMS) both made it to the consolation semifinals but were one match short of placing in the top four.
