The Humane Society of York County has dogs and cats waiting for a “forever home.” Among the many lovable pets, the HSYC wants to showcase:

•  Lucy is a beautiful, spayed girl approximately 2 years old. She was abandoned when her family moved. She's sweet but a little sassy and would do best in a home without young children.

•  Roxie is a spayed pit terrier mix who recently turned 1. The folks at the HSYC say she’s almost human. Roxie is a large and powerful girl, but gentle and sweet.

•  Isabella is a 5-month-old Labrador/Rottweiler mix who is a gentle and loving puppy.

•  Jackie is a spayed muted Tortie. She was adopted and returned twice because the people were starting a family and decided they didn’t want a cat. Jackie is little shy, but sweet and loves to curl up in your lap.
