Man robbed at gunpoint at Fort Mill car wash

— An Indian Land man told Fort Mill Police that he was robbed at gunpoint while using a self-service car wash on Doby’s Bridge Road Tuesday night, according to a report.

The victim, 47, told police that he was approached by two men and one of them pulled out a pistol, held it to his head and demanded money. The man told the robbers there was an envelope with cash inside his vehicle. They took the cash and fled.

According to the report, there was $1,200 in the envelope. Police searched the area but did not locate any suspects.
